Portable Rail Inspection System
Model: MPC-400
The MPC-400 is a manual test system that offers the testing power of a full size rail inspection vehicle with the convenience of a push cart and single person crew.
The MPC-400 inspects both rails simultaneously and achieves maximum rail area inspection coverage, including the head, web and bolt hole regions.
The MPC-400 utilizes the Dapco RTS-400 Rail Inspection Software. The LCD screen displays real time B-scan and pattern recognition results. A permanent record of the test results is generated and all test data is stored on the computer hard drive.

This portable flaw detection system has been specially developed for high sensitivity inspection applications within the railway industry.
System Includes:
- Standard Probe Wheel comprised of six inspection transducers.
- Couplant Delivery System comprised of:
- Integrated water tank with distribution hoses.
- Hose Quick Disconnect to/from Trolley for Easy Fill/Refill
- Rail Testing Trolley comprised of:
- Guide wheel to align the test wheel to the center of the rail.
Air cyclinder pack to ensure proper contact of test wheel to top of rail.
