Dapco High-Pressure Cylinder Inspection Systems
Dapco’’s High Pressure Cylinder Inspection Systems are turnkey systems used for the certification and requalification of high-pressure cylinders to meet all DOT, EN, and ISO standards. The Dapco system is easily adaptable to various diameters, lengths and shapes. The system can also be utilized for NDT of other canister type materials such as military shells and tubing products.
The inspection system is comprised of ultrasonic instrumentation, mechanics and PLC controls. The system has a single scanning ultrasonic wheel containing a full complement of multidirectional transducers which provides a comprehensive and detailed flaw analysis of the product under testing.
All of the software is Windows based and test data can be interfaced directly into a client’s data base computer. Some of the system’s advanced features include: auto calibration mode, auto verification of calibration mode, interactive cycle controls, and nine levels of security access. The system reliability has exhibited production availability in excess of 98% of the time.
